After signing up for the class, pick a week that suits your own schedule, I will furnish a supply list, technique instructions by PDF files, and information to sign up to a student-only Yahoo Group where I will personally answer and discuss any technical or design issues that you might wish to discuss. Natural Rust Dyeing can product marvelous organic markings on natural fiber cloth. I have successfully rusted many fabrics including cotton, silk, burlap, linen, wool batting. Give it a try for leaves, flowers, earth, sand...limited only by your imagination. Only a few supplies are needed and they are readily available. The process can take from 24 hours to a week to produce beautiful results.
