FRANKLINIA TREE BLOSSOM COLLAGE ART QUILT

This Franklinia design set includes detailed instructions, the pattern, and HUS files to complete your personalized version of the graphical appliqué quilt. At this time it is offered in HUS format only. The quilt top will be completely constructed in your 240 by 150 hoop. I choose to crop my composition, the one shown below measures 19" by 17" (quilt background starts at 29" by 22"). For interest I selected a value and color range fabrics to include hand dyed and geometric commercial, additionally various colors and weights of rayon and cotton threads were used for shading and texture. After completing the top in the hoop, I outlined quilted the elements and free motion quilted the background. Click to see close up.

If you would like to use similar fabrics to those shown below but still add your own flair, we offer our hand dyed kit to get you started. VIEW the FRANKLINIA HAND DYED FABRIC KIT#19, includes the violet-sky blue with white background, 6 various greens for half leaves, yellow and orange flower center, and coordinating binding. To make your own artistic quilt just add green geometric prints for leaves, red veins, and white petals.
