Have Fun Crafting it yourself
- Print off these instructions and complete your own project.
- Work in one direction around the outside, separating the branches and placing some materials deep to give it dimension. Avoid placing accents in symmetrical patterns. Shape and balance as you go. Glue materials into place with a glue gun or glue pot.
- Start with the green eucalyptus, extend a little beyond the wreath branches to soften the edges. Do the same with the larkspur. Fill in any unevenness of the perimeter with the long blackbeard wheat.
- Next, make the safflowers and chillies shorter than the outside branches, you are starting to work towards the center of the wreath.
- Strategically place the yarrow and sunflowers to balance the design. To add shape and a unique jade color, add several pieces of silver dollar eucalyptus towards the center.
- Fill in small areas with baby's breath and nigella pods to connect the design.
- Lastly, glue beard moss around the center and tear off pieces of hydrangea and glue at the moss, this hides the wire and finishes out the design nicely. Make a hanger with wire.
And there you have it! A beautifully designed Twig Wreath ready to be hung in your home or to be given as a gift!
