BJ's Quick Lap or Crib Serged Quilt Pattern $10.00

BJ's QUICK LAP or CRIB size 60" by 40" is a TRI-COLOR design, 2-layer scrappy patchwork quilt made on a serger. It uses straight seams with the 4-thread overlock stitch. There is no batting so it does not require quilting. Make a wonderful lightweight summer quilt or decorative table cloth if made with all cotton fabrics. Made with flannels it makes a heavier cozy winter quilt. The front and back design are the same patchwork blocks, making it a reversible quilt, one side showing the serged seams and the other side plain blocks. Making this quilt is a great way to use up those fat quarters in your stash that you don't know what to. You will need a total of 15 fat quarters (3 different colors) or for yardage 3 fabrics (1 1/2 yards each). The actual construction of the quilt takes about 1 hour.
