BJ's Flower Frost Bite Art Quilt |

Sometimes in the fall there is a light frost on the flowers, beautiful but fleeting. I captured this marvelous event and turned the photo into a fabric transfer and Inkodye prints, then appliquéd these onto the surface. I hope you can feel the slight chill in the air on the Indian Blanket Flowers with "Frost Bite". Many hand dyes, satins, metallics and polys make up this contemporary quilt, wool batting and free motion quilting adds to the feel. The quilt measures 46 by 32 inches.
