BJ's Where Have All the Poppies Gone II? Art Quilt |

My original BJ's Cabin blocks are highlighted with poppies. The prints were made from disperse dyes, with Shiva paintsticks and charcoal used for the pod stenciling. Fabrics include many of my hand dyed and discharged, along with silks, satins, batiks, metallics, and polys with wool batting. It is very heavily free motion quilted with silk, cotton, and rayon thread. The quilt measures 44 by 60 inches. Click to see close up of quilting: Close Up1.
