Not all gardens are pristine, some Primrose paths are riddled with weeds and bugs too! Gelatin prints with fabric paints on cotton fabric. Hand dyed, overdyed and painted cottons make up the balance. Embellishments include embroidery stitches, photo transfer bugs, patinated cooper and beads. A variety of colors and thickness of threads were used for free motion quilting. This work measures 45" wide by 53 long".
