Horsepower: Spring Watch
	My neighbor's horses inspired me to select "The Horse" as my theme for my City & Guilds Diploma course. During the winter, Grey was watching for signs of spring, see the tiny blades of spring grass and the green leaves. Yes it will soon be SPRING!

	On a winter's night, Grey is peering out of his stall, looking for signs of spring. In my original design I used discharged fabric as trees, painted and dyed fabrics, vintage feed sacks, dimensional copper roof and studded name plate. Free motion quilting, channel quilting with twine and couching twine, along with some hand quilting completes the design. And then there is Grey, in his glory embroidered with rayon thread. SPRING WATCH is a 38" by 65" contemporary wall quilt.
