Supporting our soldiers - I've only heard from my "adopted" solider once, as is to be expected, but she appreciates my cards, hope her Valentine's package with goodies arrives before Valentine's Day, this program is http://www.adoptaussoldier.org/
Soldiers Angels
I'm trying to get some help with making quick serged quilts for the returning wounded soldiers, I've been in touch with a coordinator for Soldiers Angels
http://www.soldiersangels.org

she said "the wounded soldiers would absolutely love these!"

So here's the deal I'm offering! I will provide FREE the pattern for my BJ's Quick Lap/Crib Serged Quilt, value $10, if you will make and ship one quilt to the Soldiers Angels organization. Here's the pattern
http://piecemaking.com/pattern_quicklap.shtml

I see this as a win-win proposition, you get the pattern free, it only takes one hour to make with a total of 4 1/2 yards fabric, flannel or fleece would be wonderful, I'm sure you all have that much in your stash or it's all on sale now! So for one hour and the price of shipping, a wounded soldier will have a comfy treasure, what a small price for us to pay!

Just e-mail me, I'll tell you where to download the pattern to get started and I'll provide details of where to ship the complete quilt. Thanks for considering it!

That's it for now. HAPPY STITCHING!
